The shoulder straps are 1" wide, and are hemmed with elastic to reinforce them for a hugging fit. The straps are made to your measurements, measuring from under your crotch to the top of your shoulder. The neckline is also elastic reinforced. The legs are cover hemmed with elastic to grip the leg, to keep from rolling up.
